Verona Collections is based in Toronto, Canada and in Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies. We specialize in original handmade handbags, purses and other fashion accessories. Verona Collections was launched in 1994, by designer Yvette-Michelle Cottle. She was inspired to start Verona Collections because of her love of fashion and her passion for fashion accessories.

Our Custom Order and Create-Your-Own-Handbag services have been a central part of our business since 1994. Verona Collections started off and continues to be an accessories company centred around the concept that its customers should be involved in the creative process. Our Create-Your-Own-Handbag and Custom Order services therefore allow our clients to explore their creativity.

Verona Collections designs are available both retail and wholesale. Materials are carefully selected for each design and each original piece is hand cut and sewn at our workshop. Our handbags and purses are made to order.

Our History

	1994		Over a year of playing with designs, fabric and ideas, Yvette-Michelle Cottle starts creating a line of fashion accessories and Verona Collections is born. She starts out by attending various craft and trade shows, spreading the word and her designs throughout Toronto.
	1999		The opening of our Toronto store at Queen and John. This was truly an exciting year for us at Verona Collections.
	2003		Verona Collections expands its wholesale market and has a list of clients including Price Roman and Putti in Toronto. In addition, we redesign our website and introduce our online boutique.
	2004		The introduction of our shopping cart feature via paypal.
	2005		We enhance our online "Create-Your-Own-Handbag" centre and expand on our Independent Sales Representative program.
	2006		Verona Collections expands its operations, with the introduction of its Caribbean location in Trinidad & Tobago. Join us on our journey!

Our Products

A Verona Collections bag is fashioned from quality silk, cotton, linen, wool, leather and other textiles. Materials are combined to create depth and texture. Features include, chain handles, handmade silk roses, embroidering, hand painted detailing, vintage materials, luxurious ribbons, bamboo handles, wooden handles and other ornate touches.

Our handbags and purses are for the individual who loves to accessorize and appreciates all things girly. Our designs are fun, functional and fashionable. Our collection includes chic zebra print totes, denim clutches, delicate silk pouches, elegant satin evening purses, and feminine handmade silk rose embellished bags.

Our collections are great for any occasion, versatile and fun to wear both day and night. Our handbags and purses are designed with the latest fashions in mind. All of our pieces can be worn with the hottest items at department stores and boutiques.

In addition to our line of handbags and purses, we also offer specialty bags such as; diaper bags, resort bags, cosmetic bags, shoe bags and beach bags. Our designs also make great gifts and can be gift wrapped upon request. We also have available printed and e-gift certificates.

How Our Custom Order Service Works

This service allows you to have a handbag or purse designed especially for you or that special person. Provide us with the details of what you would like and we will create a design that is special in every way. Just email us with your request, or make an appointment at one of our studio locations. This service is currently only available for our handbags and purses.

Our unique approach allows you to create your designs online or at our studio. This creative process can also be incorporated at one of our handbag parties, where the focus of the party is on creating-your-own-handbag. About the Designer

Yvette-Michelle Cottle is the designer and founder of Verona Collections. This Canadian designer was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and migrated to Canada as a child. She has combined her creativity and keen business scence to develop Verona Collections and its unique line of fashion accessories. Her designs are a fusion of traditional style with modern features, that eminates a personality of simplisity, sophistication and elegance. She continues to gain her inspiration from nature, art, the cultural diversity from her native Caribbean island, and the energy and spirt that women posses. Yvette-Michelle continues to seek out new ideas and to incorporate a rich blend of textiles to creat her unique designs.
