Information
Q: Where did the name for your business come from?
A: When the idea
came to Yvette-Michelle
Cottle that she should transform her hobby of making fashion
accessories into a business, she decided to create a collection of
purses for the bridal market. She wanted a business name that was
romantic. However, she also wanted to find a way to pay tribute to her
mother who was and continues to be her best friend and mentor.
Yvette-Michelle thought of Verona, because it was the home of
Shakespeare's lovers "Romeo and Juliet," and also her mother's middle
name.
Q: How long has Verona Collections been in business?
A: Verona
Collections was established in 1994, and is a Toronto based company.
Q: Do you have
any job openings?
A: If you are
interested in becoming part of a fun and creative team environment, we
are currently looking for individuals that are interested in becoming a
VC Independent Sales
Representative (ISR). We also have other opportunities
that are available on an ongoing basis. If you would like more

Q: Do you have a catalogue?
A: At this time
we consider our website our catalogue.
However, we are currently working on producing a printed catalogue
which we hope to have available in the near future.

VC Products
Q: How are your
bags made?
A: Each and every
Verona Collections bag is a one-of-a-kind or limited edition design
that has been hand cut, hand sewn and inspected to ensure the utmost in
quality and craftsmanship. We use only quality fabrics, interfacing ,
ribbons, trimming and findings in the creation of our original
collection of bags. Many of our designs have been hand detailed to
include, hand beading, hand painting, hand made roses and embroidering.
Custom
ordered bags are made to your specifications, and our high standard of
craftsmanship. Some items are produced at our Toronto based studio,
while others are made at our Caribbean studio in Trinidad and Tobago.
Q: How are your bags priced?
A: We price our
items by the style, fabric and detailing. Because we produce a wide
selection of handbags and purses that are produced from quality cotton,
linen, velvet, silk and other mixed fibers our prices therefore range
from $25 -$350.
Q: Are your bags reversible?
A: At this time
the bags in our ready-made collections are not reversible. However, we
do provide you with the option of custom
ordering your bag, and therefore requesting that it be made
reversible.
Q: Does your logo come on your bags?
A: Generally our
label with logo is stitched on the inside of our bags. We believe that
because of the delicate and refine nature of many or our designs, that
by having the label on the outside of our bags would take away from the
design.

Product Care
Q: How do I care for my fabric bag?
A:
You may want to take your purse to the dry cleaner, or use a mild
detergent to spot clean the item.
Q: Where are your
items manufactured?
A: Quality
textiles and other materials are selected for our bags. Some of our
products are made in Toronto, Canada, and some are produced in Trinidad
and Tobago.

Gift Certificates
Q: Where can I
use my gift
certificate?
A: You can only
use your VC Gift Certificate
at our studio, through your purchase with an ISR, at VC home parties,
or with your mail order.
Q: How long are gift certificates good for?
A: Your gift
certificate is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Q: What does the gift certificate look like?

Q: What happens
if my total is less than the amount on my gift certificate, what
happens to the remaining amount?
A: Any remaininig amount will remain as a credit and will
be valid for six months.
Q: Can I redeem my gift certificate for cash?
A: VC Gift
Certificates may only be redeemed for Verona Collections merchandise
and do not have any cash value outside of this use.

Custom Bags
Q: How do I care for my fabric bag?

A:
Yes. Verona Collections handbags and purses are available via our custom
order service. Some restrictions may apply depending on the design.
Orders must be placed a minimum of three to four weeks prior to the
desired date.

Q: Do you sell wholesale and retail?
A:
Verona Collections bag collection is available both wholesale and
retail. The prices listed on our web site are our retail prices and are
in Canadian dollars. If you would like information about placing a

Where can I purchase your bags?
A:
You can purchase our bags at our studio by appointment (depending on
location), via a sale representative, on-line,
at trade shows, or at selected retail vendors.

How do I sign-up for a Verona Collections party at your studio?
A:
When our company started in 1994, we launched the idea of having
in-studio and home parties as a fun way to introduce our designs to
customers. In 2004 we decided to bring this concept back to Verona
Collections. For more information on how you and a group of a minimum
of 5 people can join us at our studio for a creative and fun party

How do I sign-up to host a Verona Collections party at my home, office
or other location?
A:
Verona Collections would be happy to join you and a minimum of 5 guest
at your home, office or other location for a handbag

Do you have sample sales?
A:
Yes! We occasionally have sample sales. However, there is no set
schedule for these events. If you would like information on our sales,
please join our mailing
list.
Q:
How do you ship your bags?
A:
Our bags are generally shipped using Canada Post. However, we have also
used Purolator and other courier agencies. Please let us know at the
time of ordering your preferred method of shipping.
Q: How do I get
information about upcoming events you are having?
A: Joining our
private mailing
list is the best way to be updated on the events we attend and/or
host.

Return Policy
Q: If I'm not satisfied with my purchase, would I be able to return
it?
A: At Verona Collections we strive to sell quality
merchandise. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, all
you have to do is make your return within 7 business days using the
original packaging and the packaging slip (your return form). We will
credit you fully by cheque. We only give refunds for merchandise
returned in unused condition and/or manufacturing defects. Sorry, we
don't refund or exchange custom orders and/or shipping and handling
charges.
Q:
What if my order is wrong or something is wrong with the product?
A: Each order prior to shipping is carefully reviewed and
each item is carefully inspected for its quality and craftsmanship.
However, if we made a mistake and sent you the wrong order or if you
received a damaged or problem item(s), Verona Collections will exchange
the item(s) for you and refund your shipping and handling charges via
cheque. Just forward a copy of your shipping receipt, along with your
name, address, and daytime phone number to:

Q: How should I
return my purchase?
A: Simply return
your merchandise in its' original packaging. Be sure to include the
return form (packing slip) and send your package via an insured parcel
service. We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
